Interactive Farm Tour: May 29th (PM) and 30th (AM), 2026 

Come enjoy a guided farm experience at Salt & Light Homestead.

Our Interactive Farm Tour is a relaxed, family-friendly visit designed to give guests an up-close experience with several of the animals on our farm. This event is guided from start to finish and lasts about 60 to 75 minutes.

What to Expect

Guests will begin at the front of the farm, where they will have a chance to meet and enjoy our baby goats

From there, everyone will climb aboard a hay bale trailer ride and head to the back area of the farm, where you will get to interact with our Nigerian dwarf goats, alpacas, baby highlands and chickens. Feed cups are included with admission so guests can enjoy feeding the animals during the visit.

While guests are enjoying the goats and chickens, we will also bring in our Highland cows for an up-close farm experience. 

At the end of the tour, guests will ride the trailer back to the front parking area.

Admission: $10 per person (ages 2 and under are free, but are not provided feed cups)
Family Pricing: After the first 5 family members, additional family members are $5 each

A Few Things to Know

This is an outdoor farm experience, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes that can handle dirt, grass, and uneven ground.

Children are welcome, but they should remain with their adults throughout the tour.

Because this is a working farm, animal experiences may vary slightly depending on weather, timing, and the needs of the animals.

Reserve Your Spot

Advance sign-up is necessary so we can prepare for each group. Pre-payment is necessary for reservation, and can be completed in the "Reserve Farm Tour Here" button. A reservation fee of $20 is required via Venmo, and will only be refunded if we experience over-booking or cancel due to weather. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations within 48 hours of event or "No-Shows." Once we receive payment, we will email you confirming your reservation.
